Case Study: A Night of Chaos, Laughter and Barefaced Lies for SurrealDB

Event: Show Time London's Game Show Experience
Group Size: 36 people
Location: Oxford Street, London
Occasion: Staff Social

The Brief:
A last-minute change in location meant SurrealDB needed help. They wanted something without booze - no pub. They wanted team building they hadn’t done before - no trust falls. They wanted something completely unique - just pure fun. They needed a night that would shake up the usual “work drinks” and actually get people talking - not about projects, but about who stole the buzzer round and who fluffed their song lyric challenge.

What We Did:
We brought the full Show Time London setup to their office - lights, music, buzzers, big wheels, a carrot in a box, and a handsome homosexual in a gold sparkly suit (that’s me). We split the group in two and ran them through a mix of TV game shows - Family Fortunes, Spin the Wheel, Higher or Lower, Carrot in a Box, and The Price is Right. It was loud. It was chaotic. It was exactly what they needed.

The Outcome:

- Every single person took part - even the self-proclaimed introverts.

- “Best social we’ve ever done” - quote from their team lead (we blushed).

- The team stayed for two hours after the game show ended to play pool and eat pizza because no one wanted to leave.

- We’re now booked in for their summer party.

Client Feedback:

“Show Time London saved our social! We had a change of plans last minute but fortunately Jimmy came to our rescue"

"We had the most hilarious evening and the team said it was the best social we've ever had"

"Our office was transformed into a game show set and Jimmy brought all the energy, sparkles and bants for the perfect team building event"

"Can't recommend more highly and we're looking forward to having them back again soon!”
